A quickie in the sketchbook today. I failed to capture the gesture of this cypress. It's actually a lot cooler than it looks here. I probably could've placed that bench somewhere else too. A fun session though, aside from the swarm of mosquitoes that thought I was breakfast.Thursday, November 1, 2007

Mike, I think you're doing a great job at capturing the foggy moods in all of your "rain-to-come" paintings. It's not easy (I failed horribly last time) but you actually get it right. Represent AAU!
