Berkeley Aquatic Park

A quickie in the sketchbook today. I failed to capture the gesture of this cypress. It's actually a lot cooler than it looks here. I probably could've placed that bench somewhere else too. A fun session though, aside from the swarm of mosquitoes that thought I was breakfast.

Nice! Is this little group open to other artists in the east bay? I'm in Berkeley and I've been looking to do some plein air stuff lately. Can't wait to see more.

Jeez Mike. That blows me away! It's so energetic and terrifically organized. Awesome!

This is already a great blog. Glad you guys started it! I'll be back for weekly doses of inspiration here.

Mike, I think you're doing a great job at capturing the foggy moods in all of your "rain-to-come" paintings. It's not easy (I failed horribly last time) but you actually get it right. Represent AAU!

It's always great to see these each week!!! =D
